We woke up almost every morning to the sounds of the howler monkeys, we even saw them in a nearby tree. You are surrounded by the jungle and all its sounds and aromas. "The property is wild and wonderful! They are really not joking about the trek to get in there, but that is part of why it's so great once you are there.
