"We spent the week sitting on the patio or soaking in the pool, watching and listening to wildlife, from monkeys and agoutis to toucans, hummingbirds, and all kinds of other exotic and rare birds (you should seriously consider downloading the Merlin Bird ID app!). We watched humpback whales breaching in the sea, enjoyed the company of geckos and basilisks, and were very happy with the level of comfort and privacy. It was quiet but not far from groceries and anything else you want/need while in the country. We've stayed at 7 or 8 villas/houses in Costa Rica, and this is the one we''ll go back to. Everyone was very responsive and made the entire process seamless. We can't recommend this place enough. "

Trina and Jorge were amazing and even (for a small fee) picked up some groceries for us and had those for us upon arrival! "No words can describe the beauty and peacefulness of this property. The grounds are spectacular and our room was gorgeous overlooking the ocean and sunsets. Upon our arrival we were greeted with refreshing beverages and brought to our room where we saw Toucans and Parrots . In our two day visit we saw monkeys and frogs and lots of butterflies! It was so hard to leave. The entire staff was so kind and friendly and helpful. It was the highlight of our 10day Costa Rican vacation. We will definitely return again. . "

"This is definitely a 4 star not a 3 star hotel. Pool is really big and great lounging areas and garden around. Toucans are plenty here and easy to spot. Feels like a hidden gem and a truly special place. It is expensive though… particularly drinks and food is definitely a lot higher than in other places. You get what you pay for though and the quality is good. Highly recommend the family suite "
