"Immaculately clean and well-equipped apartment, the perfect size for 2-4 people. Beach was a few steps away and lots of restaurants and small supermarket were within easy walking distance. We had a car to visit nearby towns, but free parking was readily available in the middle of Salema. My only recommendation would be for a table fan in the bedroom to keep the room cooler at night. "

Heavy musty smell which was unbearable, he said "I have no mold" his word, not mine. Entrance to place was not the front door, but through like a garage which was filled with junk,hoses,stuff. Door to apt was covered in turf, did not lock properly, did not open all the way, he told me don't worry, it's safe here. There's a 2nd apt. in this...

"Very noisy a specially in night time. Barking dogs and seagulls nesting nearest building non stop. Quite dirty and not cared place to compare to next doors. Extremely dangerous stairs ,no holding bar. Beach 25min hardly walk."

"We had a lovely two weeks in this property. The view was spectacular, the outside areas and pool were great with the balcony comfortable and shady. Inside the house felt spacious and the kitchen well equipped. Lots to do within an easy drive. We found Portugal good value for money with great food and friendly people, we will return."
