"Immaculately clean and well-equipped apartment, the perfect size for 2-4 people. Beach was a few steps away and lots of restaurants and small supermarket were within easy walking distance. We had a car to visit nearby towns, but free parking was readily available in the middle of Salema. My only recommendation would be for a table fan in the bedroom to keep the room cooler at night. "

"This is a large, well equipped house in a small resort development. The house is lovely with everything you need and more than big enough for our 5 adult family. The village is quieter and less touristy than some in the Algarve but with that came more of a Portuguese feel. The nearby villages of Salema and Burgau were well worth a visit. Whilst I understand costs need to be controlled, having fresh bedding/towels during a 2 week stay would be nice. Also, although we don’t want to watch tv all...

"Good housing"

"I left right away, stayed in hotel. House was misrepresented. Not large house, but apt, no ocean view, no TV, no 2nd bathroom, not beach front... 20 min away. Heavy musty smell which was unbearable, he said "I have no mold" his word, not mine. Entrance to place was not the front door, but through like a garage which was filled with junk,hoses,stuff. Door to apt was covered in turf, did not lock properly, did not open all the way, he told me don't worry, it's safe here. There's a 2nd apt. in this...

"We had a lovely two weeks in this property. The view was spectacular, the outside areas and pool were great with the balcony comfortable and shady. Inside the house felt spacious and the kitchen well equipped. Lots to do within an easy drive. We found Portugal good value for money with great food and friendly people, we will return."

"Burgau is a great family holiday destination with a gorgeous beach and lots of restaurants cafes etc. The lower appartment was super clean and a nice size with air conditioning which worked well. It was a quick easy walk to the beach but quiet at night- maybe thanks to the shutters on the windows. The roof terrace was brilliant- lovely big space which was shared with my parents who stayed in the appartment above us.. we may not have enjoyed sharing with people we didn’t know. Would recommend...

"Sehr schöne Gegend dort, alles sauber und al-les vorhanden. Liegen auf dem Dach müssten mal gesäubert werden. ABER: Achtung Amei-sen in der Wohnung - kein Brot offen liegen lassen. Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin schlecht."
