"We traveled with some friends to Blowing Rock to celebrate my husband’s birthday. John was wonderful to work with! Very responsive and welcoming! We even had to go back to pick up an item we left behind and John was so easy to reach! The house was the perfect set up with plenty of space to spread out. The location was great. Very close to both Boone and Blowing Rock. I wish we could have stayed a few more days! We can’t wait to come back and visit again. "

"The property is in a great location with a wonderful mountain view. We stayed two shortly after Hurricane Helene came through. There were a couple of minor inconveniences that did nothing to lessen the enjoyment of our stay. It is close to many attractions and also shopping areas. "We traveled to NC from TX for annual fall trip to the High Country. Unfortunately our trip was only a couple weeks after Hurricane Helene which had a big impact on much of the area. We really appreciated that Tony kept his cabin open and many businesses worked hard to maintain service soon after the event. After many years living in Houston, we know that it’s important for businesses to be allowed to operate as soon as possible to keep their livelihoods after a big weather event. Although...

"We were notified by the rental company 2 days prior to our arrival date that this property was unsafe to occupy. We had to scramble to find other lodging as we had family flying in from out of state and another rental booked for another family member. We had no choice but to stay a home that did not meet our needs and was remote in location. This was a very stressful and upsetting experience."

"The house is located in the heart of blowing rock and was a great home base for exploring the High Country region. Easy access to Blue Ridget Parkway, Grandfather Mountain and I really enjoyed the natural surroundings."
