The rooms are nicely decorated comfortable and clean The staff, especially Bruce, Phil and Renata and so welcoming, friendly and helpful which really adds to your stay The food. The food is actually breathtaking. From its presentation and freshness to its sublime taste. Wish we could have,stayed there longer."

"This lovely quaint Guest House was ideal for us on New Year's Eve as we were invited to a Masquerade Ball held at The Queens Hotel which was only a 6 minute walk away from the Guest House. We were initially thinking of going by taxi but trying to get a taxi on New Year's Eve is a nightmare and there's no guarantee anyway that they would actually turn up. "David and his staff were excellent hosts. We were greeted by the owner upon arrival and were given an upgrade to a larger room. Very clean and well stocked room with all one would expect from the corporates. Breakfast was equally excellent with nothing being too much, absolutely recommended."

"We were greeted by our friendly hosts who were excited to be welcoming guests after lockdown. Lovely furnished, spacious, safely prepared room. The breakfast menu is 5 star and wish we had been staying longer to try all it offered. "

"We had a fantastic stay at the Woodvale. The food was excellent and despite it being a very busy time (just a few days before Christmas so lots of big parties) we didn't wait too long for our meals. We had a lovely, en-suite family room with a sea view. There was a sofa and coffee table too which gave us another space to sit, rather than just the bed. "We had a wonderful 6 days on the Isle of Wight and everything we needed was available at the property which was very comfortable. The only minor problem was that when one of the showers was being used, the cold water pipe in the kitchen area rattled quite loudly!!"
