"Nous avons eu un petit problème pour recevoir notre code d’accès à la propriété. Nous avons contacté les propriétaires et ils nous ont répondu très rapidement. La chambre était très propre, par contre le réfrigérateur ne fonctionnait et les ustensiles de cuisine ne sont pas nombreux. Nous avons tout de même passé un bon séjour. "

"Really lovely property with large spacious rooms. The host could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Would happily return The only negative is the use of shutters rather than a physical door between bathroom and bedroom. No noise reduction between the two rooms "

"Location was perfect, able to walk to all main sites, hotel just off main market square and canal with boat trips 1 min away. Staff at hotel excellent. Only minus if staying in guest house is there are no lifts and two flights of stairs but rooms are lovely."

"Lovely room at the top of a winding staircase. Travel agents on bottom floor were delightful. Blackout curtains. "

"We had the most wonderful stay. It was exquisite. Unbelievable how perfectly it has been preserved with 14th century stained glass and a view from a fairytale. We were welcomed warmly by David who is a gifted artist and the breakfast was fine dining. We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect stay and we’re grateful he shared his gorgeous home. Don’t hesitate to book. "

"I was not expecting a code-style reception at "A Flemish Tale. To me, an in-person reception check-in is essential for a traveler overseas like me. Thankfully, I was waiting downstairs at least 2 hours before my "check-in time" at 3:00 p.m., so that I was able to meet, totally by chance, the lady in charge at the entrance. But for this, I would not have been able to get my access code. Imagine how scary it was! "

"Brilliant stay at this B&B as a family including our baby. We had plenty of space in our room and even had a smaller room joining in which we kept our luggage and our travel cot when our baby napped. The host was lovely and so helpful. "On first impressions the property seemed ok but on further inspection it was dirty and strange in the way it was managed. We would not return to this property as security is a big issue. "

"First off, our host, Bernard met us at the train station and drove us to the property which was conveniently located next to the park. We fell in love with the house the minute we saw it. The interior is comfy with a working kitchen, lots of guidebooks and information about Bruges. There were two comfortable couches for us to lounge and relax on. "We were in Room 1 on the backside of the house. Great location in a great neighborhood, just minutes walk from the center of the city. Nice little courtyard - would have been great if the weather was better! Inside was interesting and unique decor, yet very spacious and comfortable. Parking was a bit difficult to figure out where we could park overnight for a reasonable cost (i.e. the orange zone) - wasn't too far away, but took me quite a while to figure out where it was."

"Das haus war so wie beschrieben. alles war sehr gut organisiert. der Pool war gut, Zubehör, wie zB ein großer Schwimmreifen, Sitzpolster für die Sitzgelegenheiten waren im Gartenhaus. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man für den täglichen Gebrauch braucht. Es ist ein älteres Haus, man darf also nicht davon ausgehen alles neu vorzufinden. wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Abende auf der Terasse waren sehr angenehm. Bitte bringt euch Anti-Mückenschutz mit. Danke"
