"Hakone-Gora is a quiet area near the base of the cable cars taking you up for a My Fuji view. There are a few eateries and bars but not much else, and the eateries close early. As such it is great if you want a relaxing night and the Emblem Flow has great Japanese style rooms and a terrific Onsen, Also looks to be a good base for walking in the area. We loved it after the bustle of Tokyo."

"A great location right on the lake in Hakone. Although it looked to be fully booked we did not see other guests and it was lovely and peaceful.
