"A unique green space on the property. Nice accomodations. Good buffet style food. Property maintenance of large green space and walking paths are a challenge. Feels a bit neglected in places. Despite that if you like a stay with a natural environment this is a nice find."

"This place is an underappreciated gem. It lies on the banks of the Rio San Carlos with 24 individual cabins. The rooms are very spacious and nicely appointed. While the pictures show the cabins overlooking the river only around four or five of them actually do that. I spent three nights here in August, 2018. "Garza Morena is a beautiful house in a great location! It is peaceful and quiet with all of the amenities you need to just stay and enjoy, while also being a reasonable distance (45 to 90 minutes) to most of the fun activities in the La Fortuna area. We are a family of 6 and had plenty of space and everything we needed. Raquel was very helpful and quickly responded whenever we needed something. "
