"The location is wonderful. The the hotel is very cute. The front desk staff is super friendly. However, when something dropped under the furniture and bed, I was disappointed about the lack of cleanliness. The mattress also seemed to need replacing."

"Love staying here. We used to stay here before we permanently moved to the area. Lost power for a couple days and took advantage. My husband judges a hotel by its mattresses and he said about The Village Inn, this is the best sleep I've had in a hotel - ever! I hope the power is out again tonight. It is a charming hotel, with greats enclosed decks with adirondack chairs that face a creek. You feel like you are in nature in the middle of town. Highly recommend! "

"Nice quiet family owned place. Staff was very informative and helpful. Well kept and clean rooms. Water pressure and temperature was great. Definitely will be staying here when I travel up that way. "
