"Made booking 6 weeks in advance, choose pay at property booking, turned up to check in at approx 10.30pm after a full day, to be told room hadnt been confirmed as no payment made at time of booking, although that was not the option booked. Ended up having to travel 4 hours home, with no where to stay after a full day in blackpool with 3 kids "

"From start to finish staying at friends hotel was a joy. Dot,the owner is wonderful and making your stay a happy one is important to her.our room was well decorated, comfortable and the fridge was a great addition. The bed is so comfy we didn't want to leave it. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Friends hotel is definitely pet friendly and Dot made a huge fuss over our dog Toby who fell in love with her. Our only regret was that we didn't know about friends hotel before this. What more could you possibly want, its near everything, its like staying with a favourite auntie, you may arrive as a stranger but you leave as a friend. Definitely recommend. "
