"The property is right on a piazza and the windows are old school making it a little noisy at night and in the morning when the church bells ring. It was also a hefty walk from the train station over bumpy streets if you have luggage. Having said that the staff was super friendly, the breakfast was great and it was SUPER cool staying in a historic monastery."

"Decent place to stay and very walkable to most places. Room was clean and staff was helpful. The property was on the square and there was a nightly singer at one of the restaurants every night until 12 midnight. Something to be aware of when booking a hotel in Italy in March/ April is that they may not have AC or have it tuned on yet. Oyr room was very warm and we'd leave the windows open but then we had to deal with the noise. Good place but probably wouldn't stay here again. There's tons...

Christian was exceptional and great fun to tour Tuscany and Sienna countryside and vineyards. Carla held amazing knowledge of the Uffezi gallery. The morning breakfast was abundant and flavorful. "Nice and quiet location, a bit far from downtown (30 minutes by bus if it comes on time, there is a bus stop right across the street) and with limited ammenities in the area. The market (grocery store) only opens from 8am to noon and then from 4 to 8pm, so it was closed when we returned to the campground but on 1 occasion when we didn't leave the campground until after 8am, we found that it had a very good selection of grocery. The Superior Chalet we stayed had 2 bedrooms and bathroom in each...
