"The St. James Hotel is a beautiful historic building. The options in the area were limited, and the service was slow, probably because we are in the south. I would have liked to have foldable luggage racks, and the drainage of the sink was slow. But I would not want those commas to detract from a beautiful historic building. The room was large and clean."

"We plan a girls trip every year. This was a perfect place for it. Enjoyed hiking and sitting around the camp fire. The house porches were very spacious and the scenery was gorgeous. Our favorite was the little grass island in the middle of the lake. We went out everyday to enjoy the sun and play games. We try somewhere different every year but would definitely go back here again. out every day and "

"Great stay! We were in town for our son’s graduation from the AF base. It is an easy drive to the base and afforded us a wonderful place to be together. We sat out by the pond in the evening to visit and play cards and ate all our meals there too. It was also perfect for an early morning cup of coffee. We had everything we needed. Bedrooms are large and the mattresses are comfortable me. Well equipped kitchen, and a very nice grill. The host is very responsive both before and during the stay....

"We were blown away at this place!! My husband and I have stressful jobs and wanted a weekend to get away. This is exactly what we needed! The home is brand new and was very clean. The view is incredible and the setting is perfect for privacy. It’s located remotely, but you still have cell service and the internet is good. It takes about 20 min to get to town.
