"Only gripe were the pillows - terrible! Very lumpy and uncomfortable. Otherwise all as expected - clean and convenient. Suggestion: a couple of caffeine free herbal teabags in the room would be great."

"A good, basic place to stay near Manchester Piccadilly. The rooms are very reasonably priced and a highlight is the buffet (continental - no cooked offerings apart from boiled eggs) breakfast: there is plenty of choice. The only thing I found surprising - and I see other reviewers found the same - is that despite the hotel's "green" aspirations, cardboard mugs are provided for tea/coffee in the room and the "Philly" cheese at breakfast came in single-portions packed in plastic. Strange!"

"Lovely hotel. Staff were very friendly. Rooms lovely and spacious. With a bath also which is a great help with the kids. Breakfast was included and lots of lovely options. Would definitely stay again"
