"We so enjoyed our holiday in this ideally located cosy cottage with its fantastic pool which was used daily. We were able to walk to the pretty market town of Uzes with its amazing array of shops and restaurants,on a quiet path behind the house. Nimes with its impressive Roman history and lots of beautiful countryside were easily accessible. Our host, Veronique, was very friendly and extremely conscientious at meeting our needs. "We did not learn from the description that the gîte was a downstairs room in owners house, on a housing estate, on a steep hill with no parking immediately outside. The owners were very pleasant but the room was very dated and furniture well worn. Not what we expected."

"Our stay at this beautiful house outside Uzes was most pleasant. Everything was pretty much as described with the only exception being the second bathroom. This was located in the spa which is outside the house. We were a bit worried with a family of seven and only one bath in the house, but it worked out fine. "I booked the property but was unable to go due to health issues, however friends who were joining us still stayed and loved it. "We booked this gite very late due to a different booking being cancelled. However this cancelation meant we stayed in a better property in a better location, must have been fate. Can't find anything negative to say, only positives. Kitchen worked well for enjoying meals in the shade. Nice big fridge so we didn't need to keep food shopping and had more time to go off and explore. If you are there in the summer there are plenty of black berries to pick to go with your desert. "We had an excellent fortnight in this beautiful house. The terrace and pool were particularly welcome as we were there during the 2022 heatwave. The house is well placed for visits to Provence, the Ardeche and Montpellier, as well as Uzes and Nimes. Note that the house does have fans in the bedrooms (despite what an earlier review says). Mosquitoes were a bit of a nuisance but kept reasonably at bay with a coil on the terrace and plug ins at night. Overall I would strongly recommend this...

"We were a family of four staying at this villa in St-Remy and overall, we liked it. The house is spacious and reasonably clean and the location, on the outskirts of St-Remy, worked very well for us. There were sufficient kitchen items provided, including spices, oil and leftover dry goods from other visitors. The pool isn't heated so we could not use it in late October but the landscaping was nice and tidy. We enjoyed sitting at the large table for dinner and there were plenty of bathrooms....
