"We were quite pleased to find this quaint, Bavarian-style hotel for our only night in Austria. Our room was spacious and had a back door that opened onto a small outdoor seating area that was part of a green space that was accessible to the guests from other rooms. We could see the mountains and wished that we had more time to spend there. We had both dinner and breakfast there, and the food was above average. We would go back."

"Loved the property as it was almost fairytale like. The staff was lovely and did everything possible to help us navigate the area. It is not easily reached by train and Uber is non-existent, but the property and its location is 5 star. Breakfast was included and it more than exceeded my expectation. "We stayed here for one night. It was fine for a one day stay. The furnishing and carpeting are somewhat worn but it was clean. We were not there long enough to use any appliances other than the refrigerator, which worked fine. The location itself is so-so. it is very close to the rodelbahn and some nice hikes but the views from the property itself are rather limited. The neighbors have big old rusted boiler (or something like that) in the front yard so not super attractive immediate surrounding. There were two issues we ran into. One was communication with the owner - I don't think this was the owner's fault as they tried to respond but this was not working through VRBOs APP very well. This may have been a VRBO issue. I did find the owners communications in my direct email eventually - but going through the VRBO APP did not work well for this property. The second surprise was the requirement to pay in cash - we scraped together every penny we had (and had to borrow from our kids) but did manage to just cover the entire cost. I would say if you just need a place to stay for a night (and you bring cash) - this is fine. For a longer stay it would not seem so attractive."
