Riverwood is at the base of low bluffs overlooking the river and consists of about a dozen cabins and smaller houses, almost all for short-stay rental. The host is a hilarious, friendly guide who through jokes, photo-taking and storytelling imparts a sense of the easygoing, vacationing atmosphere that's well supported at this hidden old-time fishing camp. "We enjoyed our time at the property very much. We met friends of ours there because their youngest son and his wife are living in Toledo so we went up for a long weekend. The property was just the right size for two couples. Sat out on the deck and watched the sun rise. It was beautiful. Had the kids over for a cookout. So much fun! "

"The house was beautiful. The only thing I was disappointed about it should have been cleaned. Spider webs on bathroom walls and light. Dirt on ceiling fans. Dust on stairway and on floor in one bedroom. Stove top was dirty and had to be cleaned before I could have used it. Recliner in living room wasn't working. It felt like I was inside a tunnel to take a shower in upstairs bathroom due to the shower curtain that was around you. Other than that we loved the privacy and the family being there...
