"Very peaceful place just outside Bridgetown, one to remember. We had a dinner and breakfast which was both perfect. We had a 4 year old child with us, which is probably not the ideal visitor here, but the staff was very accommodating and kind."

"The host was very nice and helpful. The room is ok if you just need a place to lay your head. The bathroom was small like a jail cell. I think it’s a cultural difference. Maybe I’m just a spoiled American. The host was great and you get what you pay for "

"Nice property but they cut the 1 foot tall grass the day after we arrived. The place was in good shape, clean but needed some attention to dusting. I found we had about an 8th of an inche of dust on top of our air conditioning unit in our bedroom. The location was great, across the road from the beach. The first 50 feet or so into the water had big stones ober the sand. Up the beach a hundred feet or so didn't. But its not an issue went swimming twice every day. Overall it was a great...

"We had a lovely apartment in which we can cook if we choose to, the area is nice and quite and very clean with such lovely people our Host was so kind and very helpful as for the Swimming pool it was great. We will be return for next Christmas"

"The pics of the property are misleading. The rooms are very basic. Dated and sparse. I arrived at 3pm and the room was not ready. I had to wait until 5pm as the cleaners were out. I never saw any cleaners and my room was never freshened for the 4 days. There was also never anyone at the front desk. Never! Had to clean hair out of the drain pipe in order for shower to drain. There was a strong smell of marijuana coming from rooms, even though it was a no smoking property. No soap was provided so...

She provided some fresh food for our arrival, extra towels on request, arranged airport transfers, and was generally very hospitable. "We’ve just had the pleasure of staying at The Royal Bliss & have had a wonderful time. From the moment we checked in, Karen & Andre were perfect hosts & made us feel incredibly welcome. Our room was clean, spacious, very well equipped & the bed was so comfortable! The location is perfect, right on the beach & within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants & bars. "We stayed one night before a cruise embarking from this port the next day. The reception was very friendly and welcoming. We had messaged ahead thru Expedia to advise that flight delays would cause us not to arrive until almost midnight. At check-in it was a very nice surprise to learn that they had kindly prepared us each a plate of sandwiches, fruit, and muffin “to tide you over until breakfast.” Our room was immaculately clean even if the furniture and fixtures showed some age and wear. The location is right on the beach, with water views. At check-out, the government that we has to pay directly to the hotel was twice the amount Expedia had stated on our receipt. We would stay here again. "

"Sugar Bay was a beautiful spot. Beach was beautiful! It is part of a coral reef, so swim shoes a must. Different dinner options every night, a nice mix of local and international cuisine! Amazing staff, beautiful and so helpful and friendly! It is very close to Bridgetown, and local transportation very easy to take. Also not far from airport, 20 mins, which make Sugar Bay a perfect location. They accommodated our stay with a family room with three single beds, which suited us perfectly. Very clean and well organized overall! We throughly enjoyed our stay!"
