"This was a perfect coastal getaway for our family. This was our home base for 2 days and we explored the Redwoods and the Shelter Cove area. House was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. View is fabulous! "

There are only two bathrooms despite having 5 bedrooms, so keep that in mind. The property seemed to be designed with a “man cave” focus, minus a pool table; large TVs in every room with a grand outdoor kitchen. We could not wait until sunrise to see the beautiful views on top of the mountain. I would caution that a good vehicle is needed to get up to the house...

After a good night's sleep in comfortable beds, morning revealed the awesome view.. it was a great homebase for exploring the Avenue of the Giants. We'd stay here again!"

"We were only here for one night and the weather was too chilly to take a dip in the pool. Parking was close to the guest house/pool. Nicely decorated but it’s small. Fortunately lots of outdoor space! Bed was very comfortable. Nice towels and many toiletries provided. Perfect location if you are looking to tour the Redwoods. Two things that kept me from giving 5 star rating were: there was old coffee(how old?) in the pot and the refrigerator is located outside of the unit and it wasn’t clean."
