"The inn was actually more like a motel. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and accommodating. My main issue was the floor. I am a barefoot girl and the bottom of my feet were very dirty from walking around barefoot and caused me to wear my shoes inside. There were a few minor maintenance issues which were taken care of once they were brought to the attention of the manager. "

"No vacancy. I had a reservation. When I tried to register, door locked. Note saying call this long distance no.. It's 90 outside temp. No call back. I see another note pasted to another window to call this other no. for registration. Manager finally showed up. Surly. I was given a room where a ladder was in front of my window and all parking spaces taken by construction crew. I asked for another room - again he was surly. No more rooms, he said. "The pictures don't do justice. The visit to the Hobbit house was amazing. The drivie way to get in is a little oasis is tricky but manageable. Just don't do it with a corvette.lol. Commutation with the host was great and never felt like they didn't want to help or provide a great stay!"

"This home is a gem in Southern Humboldt. Just steps from the historic Benbow golf course. My kids loved the pool, it’s big and deep. Easy access right off Hwy 101, near the town of Garberville with good grocery stores. Close to Redwood groves and swimming holes on the Eel River. Comfortable beds and amazing views."
