"Entering it and the bar area are lovely. The rooms are very dated and small compared to other hotels in the area. Bed I thought was very hard and pillows far too soft! Also, you can't use contactless payment for the pre-authorisation and as I had no physical card on me, they sent a link for a a pre-auth of £250. If you have a physical card, it's £50. Very dated way of doing things."

"Me and my wife really enjoyed our stay at Little Haven, the location of the hotel suited me as I'm a ex seamen, so the views of ships departing and arriving were fantastic, you can also enjoy nice strolls along the promenade and easy reach of south shields.
