"The only negative was that other guest’s dog lefy 2 piles of geces in the corridet. Someone tried to remove it but left 2 significant feces smears on the carpet. We immediately notified front desk receptionist. Then next morning we told the housekeeper who was aware. The smears remained for our entire visit until our last morning when we submitted complaints to reception director again, it was finally cleaned at the time of our departure. "This is a very attractive, modern hotel in a lovely older building. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. We appreciated the design and eco-friendly touches. The only downside was the room was very warm and the thermostat seemed unable to go below a set temperature. We had to open the windows to cool off. Otherwise, a really nice stay."

"The interiors and room quality is excellent. However the hotel is in a shopping and restaurant centre so it feels very odd and there is a great deal of external noise. Our very large window looks out on to a service yard... That said the location in town is good, so fine for a one night stopover."
