"Clean, modern room and the hotel was really quiet at night. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative was the shower gel was running very low and not filled up and only two hangers in the wardrobe which was not enough for our five night stay. Location was ok, not many eating places next to the hotel but only a short walk to the train station where there were great transport links and places to eat. Around 15 minutes to walk to the centre of Basel...

"We really enjoyed our stay - located very close to the train station (where the airport bus also stops), and old town so super convenient. Very quiet despite being close to a road. Super friendly and helpful reception (providing maps of the city, Basel card, tips for getting around the city easily and onwards travel) and a very clean and comfortable stay for a good price. I would stay here again for sure"

"What a find! Highly recommend. We loved this hotel, wish we could have stayed longer, restaurant menu and drinks reasonably priced. Mini bar reasonably priced. Only downside is from carpark (level 5 upwards is for guests) to room was quite a trek, and our room was the furthest one away. Also the noice from the car park renovation starting at 7.20am was not appreciated, but it won't be forever I guess. Staff were super friendly. "We spent New Year’s in Basel and was hoping for something a little more quaint, but the hotel was clean, quiet, and convenient to a variety of restaurants and local transportation. We are INCREDIBLY grateful to the gentleman who checked us in as he let us know that the garage we had originally parked our rental car would be locked through the New Year’s holiday which would have greatly impacted our plans the next day!
