"Copthorne Tara provides very affordable accommodation in a really nice part of London easily accessible from Kensington High Street Tube which is only the 3rd stop from Paddington. The hotel is large and comfortable, I would describe the decor as a little dated but perfectly ok. The staff are very helpful and there are plenty of them in the busy reception area. "Well located to 'posh' shops, Harrods etc. Near to Knightsbridge tube. Reception staff were friendly. I had asked for a high up room on my reservation but this was not picked up on. My room was clean and tidy, although it was showing a few signs of needing renovation, e.g. seal and grout in batthroom. Managed to get a good price for a double room meaning value for money was good."

"I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, and the services, along with the breakfast, were truly excellent. The only minor drawback was the distance from central or eastern London, which is where I needed to travel. Improved public transport options in the area would make the experience even better."
