"The view is unbeatable! Large bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Beautiful indoor kitchen and gathering areas. Meals on the upper outdoor deck were dreamy and the lower patio was made for fun!! Host were awesome to work!!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Tropic Like It’s Hot. The owners have thought of everything—games, beach chairs, a cooler for day trips, sunscreen, and insect repellant were all very nice to have on hand without having to bring our own or buy it. The home was spacious and perfect for our group of 7. The kitchen was well appointed and while we didn’t really cook much, it was nice to have the amenities for the meals we did have there. We did have some trouble with the gate during our stay. One side never opened with the remote and maintenance wasn’t able to get it fixed before we left as it rained a couple of days (and it needed to be dry for it to work), but we were able to get in and out of the carport fine, just needed to be extra careful backing out. The property is in a neighborhood and not a tourist area, which we preferred. It was very safe and people were friendly. The neighborhood is basically adjacent to the rainforest and we loved that. I know some other reviews complained about the rooster noises, but we loved it! There were ducks, chickens, frogs, cats, dogs, and even a trio of cows walked down the road next to the property one night! We could never figure out how to consistently get warm showers. We looked for instructions but were unable to find them. Maria was very responsive to questions and we appreciated the notes and QR codes around the house with local info. Also appreciated not having a huge checkout “to do” list! Great trip!"

"Overall, the house was very nice. The pool and pavilion area were outstanding in the kitchen. We had an issue with the stove top and they ended up not using it because it was broken kitchen linens were short and supply and you should also know there is no dishwasher in this app Plenty of bath towels and the bedrooms were very nicely done. There is a pressure there is a problem with water pressure on the second floor, especially in the showers and tubs"
