"We had an enjoyable stay at Lamphu House! The AC worked very well, which we were very thankful for in Bangkok. Location is great: the hostel is on a tourist street with lots of street vendors and great restaurants and within walking distance to the Grand Palace. Only 2 things preventing a 5 star review: 1.) walking up 3 flights of stairs to our room and 2.) our bed was very very hard. Otherwise, a nice stay! :)"

"Bed was hard as a rock. There is no elevator, so if like me you have a bad knee. The location of rhe hotel is u ique located at the end of a small road lin3d with shops and resturants and food stands. At night the road maybe closed to vehicle traffic. My taxi driver would not attempt it snd in Bangkok that says alot. There is a tuk tuk stand at the end of the alley though."
