"This hotel is in a great location for us first time visitors to Buenos Aires, a couple of blocks from Recoleta Cemetery and the meeting place for many tours. The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful with advice and arrangements for taxis, around town, and for reliable transport to the airport. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. "A nice hotel in the Palermo district. Breakfast buffet is very nice. Front desk staff were unaware of the Expedia VIP perk, but then offered a nice fruit basket. "

"Great location at the heart of the city of Buenos Aires. It's close to everything. Front Desk Staffs were very helpful and accommodating. They courteously responded to our queries and willingly extended a helping hand whenever we need one. The rooms are clean but outdated and need some improvement or upgrade. The room's ventilation/air conditioning system was old & inadequate making us uncomfortable and sweaty."

"With the exception of Jessica, the front desk personnel are kind of cold toward guests. Thee rest of the staff are very warm and welcoming. Thank to Jorge, Camila, and especially Marisol, for making our stay a great one. The room is big and comfortable, with modern facilities, yet keeping the charm of an old building. There's a lot construction and remodeling in nearby structures (front Building, sidewalks, etc.), but the location of the hotel makes up for those inconveniences. There aren't too much dining options nearby, but you will be about 5 minutes in taxi to Puerto Madero! Try the rooftop bistro at the hotel. Great for a light snack at sunset (Ask for opening days). Overall, Tango de Mayo Hotel was a great pick. Great place to move around the city, in a very safe area. Recommended!!"
