Vita, the manager, provided excellent and unending recommendations with a patience blordering on the the miraculous. You'll be pressed to find better value during your travels. "Friendly, relaxed stay for 3 nights. Staff were just lovely, couldn't be more helpful. Clean, large room with a view out over the street, but still quiet. It was a little bit out of the main town, about a 25 minute walk to the train station, but there is an airport bus stop just a 5 minute walk away, and all the sights are walkable - Palermo isn't a large city. Breakfast was usual Italian fare, plenty to start the day, and great strong coffee to wake you up! Great choice of restaurants and bars...

There was also some mildew in the shower. "We gad a great time. Nicolo was very helpful and hospitable. The property is very close to the train station and so you're walking less than three or four minutes to get there. We had an early flight out of Palermo and so we needed to be as close as possible to the train station to catch that flight. This is not a quiet area. But, none of downtown Palermo is quiet. If you are a light sleeper or if you simply do not like street noise, this will not work for you. I'm just giving you a heads...

"It’s a beautiful place and the view is amazing. The rooms are a bit small but that’s generally the case in Europe. The only issue we had was the shower. It has two issues: a handheld wand that I had to rig to stay up and at an angle so not to shoot out of the shower, and the shower curtain which allowed water to flood the bathroom floor no matter what you did. It was also really small making it difficult to wash up. "

"After checking reviews of this place I was a bit worried but overall we did enjoy our stay. We are family of 4 and stayed 7 nights in bungalow. Accommodation was spacious and clean however very outdated. AC only in the bedroom so kids who were sleeping in living/dining area complained of a heat. This is a sport complex which is available to the public so at the weekends quite busy. But plenty of sun beds so no issue with finding a spot. Big swimming pool, however swimming cups are necessary....
