Breakfast great,the chef went that extra bit by cooking fried eggs every morning as soon as I walked into the restaurant, very much appreciated. Good selection of food and served hot. Room facilities could be better.the mattress was too small for the base. Very limited items on the drinks tray ie: only 2 bags of English breakfast tea, only 2 sachets of white sugar, etc. as staying as a couple, drinks become rationed. Once relaxed in...

"Rooms need soundproofing. You can hear conversations in rooms next door. Kept awake by someone snoring in the next door room. Otherwise a lovely hotel and Spa. "

"The hotel is situated about a five minuet drive from the town, which makes it much quieter than staying in the town center. The grounds are well kept and there is ample parking and EV charging facilities. The staff were polite and helpful and the breakfasts were substantial and excellent quality. The room we stayed in was a good size, clean and well appointed. We didn't use the gym or pool but they looked very inviting. We enjoyed out stay and would love to come back some time."

"Loved the retro style/fixtures of the hotel and the fact that you can definitely imagine the old newspaper offices. Disappointed in some of the historical ‘front pages’ that were on display, especially those relating to the British royal family but I suppose this reflected the political slant of the Evening Telegraph and the press at the time Apart from this - the staff and the facilities were top rate"
