"Booked a cabin last minute during a snow storm for me and my two Border Collies. The owner actually called me to make sure that I knew it was a camping cabin - which I thought was super nice. He brought down a second heater in case the first one didn’t warm the cabin up enough. It was a camping cabin so rustic. We really appreciated being able to bring our 4 legged friend, who also had a great time. We did have a little bit of snow so had to be careful on the flight of stairs up to the cabin. "

"This is a private cabin that gives you your own section of Shavers Fork of the Cheat River. Very clean and well set up upon arrival. Nice deck out back facing the stream. Hot tub was at a good temperature for us. We would come back. Good central location to explore Monongahela Park. "

"First time solo travel and I couldn’t have picked a better spot. Complex was clean and maintained. Easy self checkin and good communication with, updates from, property management. Cabins spaced out nicely, afforded privacy and quiet; and was cozy with all the essentials needed for my solitude stay. No issues with internet/tv inside of cabin. A short drive to town and grocery, with nearby beautiful places to visit and things to do. Would definitely stay here again."

"We were in the area for a wedding....but took some extra time for ourselves. The cabin was the perfect home away from home. Quiet, relaxing and had everything we needed to just enjoy our time together. The house was clean and well equipped. My favorite spot was sitting on the top balcony drinking my coffee listening to the water. Just absolutely mesmerizing. Thanks for sharing this home with us. "

"This place is very nice. Views from the windows facing the southern valley are spectacular. Loved the area and the neighboring towns of Davis and Thomas. The property is nicely secluded on a gravel mountain road just off a paved road that is not busy. The hiking in the area was great. My only complaint is the check in process which included an extra 10 minute drive to a realty office where I received not a key but the four digit code to the door. This could have been emailed in my opinion....

"We had the most wonderful weekend here! The location feels very remote, but that’s exactly what we were looking for. It was easy to get to Blackwater Falls, and other local must-see excursions. Dolly Sods was a bit further, but totally doable. The house was very clean, well stocked and the most comfortable beds! We highly recommend!!"

"My partner and I had an amazing time staying at this cabin for the weekend. It was well put together and very organized. We had more than enough space to enjoy our time. We had limited access to the outside areas due to the snow but we still had plenty to do inside during our stay and the hot tub was still accessible . Our city lifestyle didn’t prepare us for the curtainless windows at first but the open lighting became a warm comfort in the morning."

"Wonderful place to stay at. Loved the community feel even though wasn't expecting it. Also appreciated it was 15 minutes to nearest town, so great location to get around the area. Would definitely like to stay here again. Only thing i didn't like was all the additional fees at the point of checkout; would be better to just incorporate some of the fees into the actual nightly cost, but i think that's more of an application service issue and not the host,so why i didn't reduce stars."

"My husband and I took our son here for our first family trip. The cabin was very cozy and decorated for fall. We loved it. We appreciated the kitchenware and were able to cook dinners while we were there. We loved the outdoor portion of the property. It was much larger than we expected. We also enjoyed using both of the fire pits while we were there. Overall, we had a great stay and hope to return again in the future."

Easy communications with Chip and Laurie, such kind people!!! The ideal location for XC skiing! Honestly, cannot beat it. Felt like the luckiest people all weekend! "
