"We had a fantastic two nights stay at this hotel. The two hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, helping us with anything we needed. The room was spotless, with a very modern bathroom, great lighting, comfy bed and smart TV for apps etc. We felt very comfortable. Good selection of breakfast and very tasty. Hotel is a short walk from restaurants and beaches. A faultless stay and would highly recommend. "

"Hai and Chilly were fabulous hosts, communicative and always happy to assist in any way. As it was winter we opted to stay in the village. The family sized room with 2 king beds and bathroom plus your own seating and hammock out the front situated in lovely gardens was a great place to recover after doing the Ha Giang Loop. Basic breakfast is included, lunch and dinner are available with dinners being shared dishes with other guests which gives the opportunity to meet others. You can hire bikes next door for 30000 D and the team can organise day trips and transport. We did the afternoon kayaking with bbq on a floating village followed by night kayaking to spot the phosphorescence and really enjoyed it. Depending on where you are coming from it is a little tricky to get there- bus, ferry, shuttle bus, speed boat and golf buggy but they can assist you with these arrangements as they did with us . If you just want somewhere to unwind for a day or 2 or use as a base for day trips the accommodation is a really great cheap option. Thanks for making us feel so welcome!"

"The best hotel ive stayed in so far on my trip to vietnam. Trung the receptionist was so helpful, I wish all were as good as him. He goes the extra mile and genuine service. The hotel was spotless and my room spacious with a great view of the bay, especially sunrise in the morning rising above one of the islet peaks. I would definitely recommend this hotel for someone who prefers a quieter location away from the main town and very close to the cruise boat harbour. 5 stars from me"

"Great accommodation in a safe quiet location a short walk to town."

"Lovely modern hotel ran by a nice family. The rooms are very spacious and have an amazing view of the bay. It's a little far from cat ba centre, 20-30min walk with a lot of incline and down cline! Not many restaurants and cafes around so you have to walk into centre for 'western' food and more options. It can also get noisy with the docks opposite and noise from neighbouring local shops. The hotel itself has potential of being 4* but some rooms are still being renovated so there was noise of drilling etc but if you're out all day it isn't a problem, it's quiet at night. TV I'm the room has Netflix so it's nice to relax in a big rooms after a long day on boat trips. Also book tours on cat ba it's cheaper then booking from Hanoi! The owner has a tour company too and offers good packages. "
