"place okay. Bit early in season. Everything at the accommodation closed at 7pm. Didn’t open again until breakfast at 0730am. Nowhere else to hang as main reception area closed at 1930so confined to pokey room or outside in cold. We were offered a bigger better room at an extra 20e a night on check in which came over as ours was bit rubbish! -which it was ! It was a 15 min drive to Avola on a dodgy road. Little to see in Avola - sea front area was ok but little there due to time of year. Room...

"The host Maria was so sweet and kind! We could get breakfast at any time since the kitchen-room was open 24/7. The hotel room was quite big but the bed was hard and it was a very bad smell from the drain inside the shower. The window in the bathroom does not lead outside, it opens inwards towards the reception inside the house. The window inside the bedroom led to a staircase. We were woken up at night by someone turning on the lights in that stairwell, which lit up the room. You could hear...
