"We had two ‘Comfort Rooms’ and our whole stay was EXCELLENT from the moment we arrived. We were formally welcomed by the owner add seen to our rooms which were really lovely, spacious, modern and very well presented with a lovely bottle of wine. "Stayed for 3 nites Air Conditioner was broke and not working the first night but they brought us a fan which helped and they fixed it the next morning. Breakfast was great the first morning and went downhill from there- $8.00 per person. Probably not worth it but the coffee was good. No cafe near by. Shower great. Staff helpful. Old building in not a very pretty area but safe enough. Elevator helpful for luggage. Great restaurants on the beach. "

"The rooms were large and comfortable and breakfast was adequate. Parking will be an issue during peak holiday season. And, accessing the property in a large vehicle will be impossible since the road is SO NARROW. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay and we were able to walk everywhere within Avola. Most restaurants were already closed for the season when we visited in early Nov so bear that in mind if you plan to visit during the off season."

"Beautiful hotel situated on an ancient farm. The “new” buildings were constructed 200-300 years ago, yet are totally modern inside. Gardening is beautiful. Staff are incredibly friendly, caring and helpful. Breakfast was great and presented in a personal, pleasant way on a lovely patio. We loved this place—the best so far on our 3-week tour of Southern Italy and Sicily."
