"place okay. Bit early in season. Everything at the accommodation closed at 7pm. Didn’t open again until breakfast at 0730am. Nowhere else to hang as main reception area closed at 1930so confined to pokey room or outside in cold. We were offered a bigger better room at an extra 20e a night on check in which came over as ours was bit rubbish! -which it was ! It was a 15 min drive to Avola on a dodgy road. Little to see in Avola - sea front area was ok but little there due to time of year. Room...

Bellissimo e suggestivo il limoneto: non una marmellata al limone… Spiaggia a 1400 metri, ci sono le bici a disposizione…. senza seggiolini per i bambini, peraltro spiaggia non attrezzata. Mi han detto che mi davano l'ombrellone….da portare a mano, in bici e col bimbo in braccio… A pranzo posso avere una pasta per il bambino? "This place is amazing! Marco cannot do enough for you, including carrying very heavy suitcases upstairs, free bottle of wine and pastries in the room. Room cleaned every day, comfortable. Breakfast, fresh, plentiful set you up for the day. Parking available, close to the breach, 10 minute walk to the centre of the town. We would highly recommend Ermes excellent value and an amazing stay"

"Stayed for 3 nites Air Conditioner was broke and not working the first night but they brought us a fan which helped and they fixed it the next morning. Breakfast was great the first morning and went downhill from there- $8.00 per person. Probably not worth it but the coffee was good. No cafe near by. Shower great. Staff helpful. Old building in not a very pretty area but safe enough. Elevator helpful for luggage. Great restaurants on the beach. "
