"My stay in the Penthouse Suite at Opal Oaks was amazing. The penthouse was spacious and beautiful. The property was quiet and in a good central location. Megan was kind enough to accommodate an early check-in, which was a lifesaver since I wasn't feeling well and needed a nap. I was in the area for work, and it was so much nicer to stay at Opal Oaks instead of a hotel. I would absolutely stay there again if I am back in the area. I can't say enough nice things - Book it!"

"New owner as of few weeks ago. Restoration work being done. Beautiful setting, Pecky cypress ceilings in main area. Wood floors with beautiful carpeting up stairways and through halls. Very clean. My room appeared to be recently painted. Very comfortable. Wi-fi iffy. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Continental breakfast. Apparently lightning strike on chimney has created some problems. "Me and my bf stay for 5 days in the junior suite, it was very accommodating and lots of pools and activities for families, we felt very safe and welcomed. Rooms were very clean, the only thing that we didn’t care for was the living room, it’s very big with small tv and furniture but that’s nothing we just spent most of our time in the nice comfy king bed, will definitely stay again but may just upgrade our room next time! "
