"Was a nice room. But wow was it roasting hot. We could find anywhere of turning the heating down or off so had a very hot night, even with fans on. The toilet however had no heating so was the opposite and freezing. Nice to have our own little room but think it was too pricey, compared to the many other hotels we stay in for major race events. Breakfast was toast, yogurts or 3 choices of cereal, nothing for vegetarians and not really a continental as offered. "

"Lovely little ‘quirky’ hotel. The owners were delightful and very helpful. Food was delicious. I did find the stairs to the room quite a challenge due to osteoarthritis, but mobile people wouldn’t find this an issue. The room was adequate and serviced daily. The was a tv - the fact that I could only get one channel at a set volume added to the overall experience. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room were replenished daily. Bathroom was small and could do with a touch of paint, but...

"Lovely property with a quirky mix of old style charm and modern facilities. Spotlessly clean and plenty of spare linens supplied. Solid floors throughout, which was ideal for the dogs.Dog bowls, toys and spare lead provided.Lovely courtyard garden, but unfortunately not secure.Generous welcome pack."
