"The cabins are nice and have a mini kitchen and a comfortable bed. The area is quiet and the stars are bright. The property is quiet and surrounded by beautiful trees. We were there off season and it was nice to sit on the front porch and listen to the red squirrels chatter and watch the chipmunks. It’s a good stay for 2-3 nights."

"I love being on the river , there’s nothing like it , although their cabins are very “rustic” which I like , they were in great shape , the only thing they need is a stove for cooking we may do with the barbeque and have zero complaints. "The property was unique. The bed in the main building was very comfortable. I didn't like the shower being in the bunkie and that there was no privacy when entering and exiting the shower. Unfortunately there were many mosquitoes so staying outside at night wasn't possible. The power went off during our stay and we could not find any candles so we drove out to get some. "

"My husband, baby, and I, along with another couple and their baby, stayed at this cottage during our trip to Cape Breton. The cottage was more spacious than we expected and fit us well. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area was great. Our favorite part was the proximity to the beach! Great sand and swimming, and the location made it perfect for running back and forth with kids. This place is a drive away from any amenities, which we knew, but something to take into consideration."

"A stunning location and really helpful host. We needed good wifi during the week to work remotely and there were no issues - xplorenet 100mb download and 5mb up worked well. No dropped connections. Property is dated and rustic and could use some upgrades and deep cleaning but it was perfectly functional for what we needed. The host was open to all our suggestions and we appreciated that."

"Trailside cabins are set back from road, in a private setting. Interiors are spotlessly clean, efficient with everything you need, nicely decorated. Private access path to rocky ocean front. Very accomodating owners. "
