"The location was good and the kitchen was well stocked in as far as dishes, cutlery, towels,laundry detergent etc The place needs a good cleaning! The chair in the living room needs to be cleaned as it had a bad odor. The downstairs bathroom especially. Lots of missing light bulbs making the place dark. "Beautiful spot! Neat as a pin. Lovely, large deck to enjoy the views, and soak up the final rays of September sun. Had a BBQ one evening and dined al fresco. Quick and easy entrance right next to the cottage to enjoy a walk on the ocean floor at low tide. A couple of us took the beach chairs supplied by the hosts and enjoyed a sip of wine way out on the cove one day. Convenient outdoor shower to rinse away the salty water and sand. I loved sitting on the veranda and watching the boats go by and the ocean waves crashing against the shore line. the scenery is beautiful ! the house - immaculate, serene and inviting a nice surprise ... fresh baked bread waited for us !!!! also .. there was coffee, tea and other thoughtful items. highly recommend Skipper Tom's "

"We stayed here for a week and used the house as our hub for touring PEI. Everything about our stay was top notch. We found the house exactly as advertised. The view was wonderful from predawn glimpses of lobster boats to gorgeous sunrises. The amenities included everything we needed. A smoke detector battery ran low and that was addressed immediately. Communication withNatalie was great! Highly recommended!!"

"Great, cozy, comfortable, light-filled cottage for two on St Margarets Bay, with view of water from large deck. Close to beaches, South Shore, Peggy's Cove and Halifax area. The village of Hubbards has grocery, cafes, pharmacy, NSLC, bike trails and great Farmers Market."

"We thought it was a lot of house for the money. Kitchen was well appointed and easy to navigate. House was quirky but we enjoyed it. Especially enjoyed hiking on the nearby trail. Also recommend the cable museum,,and a visit to Brigus. One should also know that Bay Roberts has all the stores etc,,but no downtown section and there is a fairly busy road in front of the house."
