"Aside from the rainy weather our stay in Sao Bernardino has been lovely. A lovely beach side cafe/bar/restaurant in walking distance meant we haven't had to drive if we were spending the day close to home. When the sun came out it was glorious but apparently we picked the wettest March on record. The house was roomy with lots of windows and the beds were very comfortable. The host responded very quickly to all inquiries and all has been smooth."

"Our stay was fantastic. The house is beautifully decorated, and the fireplace makes it very cozy. Despite the house being historic, it was easy to get temperature of the different spaces comfortable. We visited in February, so it was a little cold to spend time outside, but the garden was beautiful. Our host was very attentive and helped with anything we asked for. "

"Fantastic area right in the heart of the castle. However, tricky to get to as you need to park your car 10 minutes away and then navigate through the cobbled streets. The house is very quaint, but has damp issues so you can smell mould ( although it was winter, so maybe it is better in summer). Heating was a bit basic. "We were grateful for the signs that marked the actual house and street that it was on. It was not that far or difficult of a drive from Obidos. The inside of the house was beautiful and immaculate. "We had a most wonderful few days staying in this lovely apartment. The hosts were so helpful and the location perfect - quiet and relaxing spot.
