"Being in the Nubian village experience, if you love do mingle with the locals this is the place. We really enjoyed our stay. It's not in the city center but that is a good thing you can get anywhere quickly with their boat shuttle service. Or car service, I prefer the boat , car is not as relaxing "

I continued to call on her support when the luggage was delivered to the guesthouse. Hamdi is one of the partners and he was helpful in getting me my luggage, communicating my needs, getting me refreshments and checking in to my room which had a lovely view of the water. "Bedroom smelt like sewerage. Booked quad room but got double. Provided 2 towels for 4 people. Requested 2 more towels but request was ignored. Charged 25usd for a 30 minute ride to the airport (equivalent taxi ride would have cost 1usd). Recommend staying at Kato Dool. "
