"Had a lovely stay at Glengorn Guest House when visiting for the Royal Mòd. Check in was quick and easy, room was clean and tidy with an assortment of tea , coffee and some biscuits. I had opted for a room with shared bathroom which was spotless and close to the room. The accommodation is incredibly close to almost anything you could want and a short walk away from the train and bus stations. "

"Brand new, exceptionally clean pod with amazing pull down bed. Well stocked with tea facilities and toilet rolls.We booked the pod for our Son as our local accommodation wasnt big enough. He loved the pod for 4 nights. My only comment is that a door blind may be helpful.Stunning views and the campsite was clean and quiet. It didnt take away the tranquility of the village.Great shop and pub next door.We cant wait to return next year when the site will be even more blended into the countryside."

"Can highly recommend this characterful, very clean apartment for couples or groups/families up to four or five. The host presented the apartment beautifully, was very generous with courtesy items, and super responsive with any questions we had. It was a great location and had lovely views. "

"Friendly check in. Very clean room and comfortable bed. I think it's just been refurbished Good buffet breakfast in the morning, excellent cup of coffee. Big bonus is the car park, a lot of places in Oban don't have this I'll definitely book into here next time. towntown"

"Hotel is in a perfect location but it seriously needs updating and a fresh coat of paint. Rooms very shabby. I stayed in a ‘superior’ room but not superior in my opinion . I had to ask for toiletries as they were all empty or nearly empty. Reception staff friendly and helpful. I felt 10am check out was a bit early "

Very enjoyable stay

"My wife and i atayed 1 night at this hotel and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself is very central to Oban and we booked a room with a sea view and the room was spacious and had a lovely sea view. The room was very clean and tidy, and downstairs has a bar called Markie dans which serves good food & drink "

"No17 The Promenade is a lovely boutique hotel. It is located just outside of the center of Oban, a brisk 10 minute walk along the boardwalk from the downtown. The views of the harbor from the lounge and the restaurant are great, the furnishings are colorful and with lots of character and the hotel staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is fantastic—we loved both our dinner and our breakfast the next morning. We’ll be certain to return! "

"We had one night's stay in a family room on the ground floor including an en-suite. We met Joyce on arrival who was lovely. The room was perfect for us, very clean indeed & all had a good night's sleep. Great location situated at the northern end of town, would definitely stay here again."
