"The house is amazing with a huge garden leading to a stoney beach and rocks. Loads of wildlife and close ( with a car) to some other lovely spots. In the garden we had regular visits from deer, foxes, red squirrel, pine martens and badgers. Loads of wild birds. Perfect for adults who want peace and quiet, kids to run about and dog heaven."

"This is a lovely apartment that appears recently updated. The open kitchen/ living area has large windows and is spacious and nicely decorated. The location is great and an easy walk to restaurants and the main street in Oban. There is a large Tesco a 2 minute walk away. They offer daily parking at a reasonable rate. I wouldn't hesitate to book this apartment again."

"We booked through home and away so was surprised that all communication subsequently came from cottages.com ( who were obviously the property manager) and then discovered that if I had originally booked with them the cottage would have been cheaper- which was annoying . Also disappointed that due to a local land dispute a nearby resident had erected a fence and we were unable to access the Loch near the cottage"

"Ian's lodge proved to be super quaint in a quiet part of Kilchoan and up a slight hill, with a view of the water in the distance. Secluded surroundings making an evening on the porch ideal and private. Nice over hang making sit outs in the rain ideal and atmospheric. Very close to Kilchoan grocery store which also has a petrol station and with Kilchoan Hotel only a 5 minute walk away. So you have all the amenities on your doorstep. Great location for exploring the furthest part of Ardnamurchin...

"Sehr schönes Haus, mit viel Liebe und Geschmack gebaut und eingerichtet. Vermieter/Eigentümer wohnt nebenan, sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ausstattung des Hauses ist neu und sehr gut. Blick aus dem Wohnzimmer grandios, ebenso aus dem Hot-Tub (37 °C) auf der Terrasse. Strontian ist ein sehr kleiner Ort in den Highlands etwas abseits der touristischen Zentren, sehr angenehm. Im Ort ein kleiner Supermarkt, 2-3 Restaurants und eine Tankstelle. Wenn wir nochmal in diese Gegend fahren, dann ist dieses...

"Very conveniently located to visit Oban or to go over to nearby islands eg Mull, Staffa, etc. Handy to have car parking space with apartment. Spotlessly clean apartment with almost everything you need provided for a short stay. Within walking distance of supermarket and other stores. Train station close to apartment but property is soundproof so this isn't an issue from a noise perspective."
