"This was the perfect spot for a gathering that included family ages 14 to 75. The kitchen allowed for cooking and socializing without feeling crowded and the game room was great fun for all! Back yard fire table allowed us to sit outside on a cool evening and every area of the home felt spacious - inside and out. The real stars of the visit were the alpacas and we were able to feed them the afternoon we arrived and get to know their personalities. They are wonderful!!We selected this VRBO...

"Trophy house is a very cool place for a guy or a couple. As a 65 yr old woman alone it was kinda spooky. It’s connected to a big house that was empty and above a sort of reception hall, also empty. Across the driveway/parking space is a half built structure that looks like it’s going to stay that way. The pool is (or was for me in mid June) murky, algae, old and not useable. "The property is beautiful, location was perfect for visiting our daughter at UNT and the bed was very comfy. We enjoyed family time and s’mores around the fire pit. Melissa makes a mean breakfast sandwich that was the bomb! She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. "

"The location is aptly described as “country living at its best.” Close to eating and shopping in Roanoke, but nicely secluded from the close by subdivisions. The house layout was very comfortable for our family. Three separate families interacted easily. Especially enjoyed the large kitchen area. House itself is well maintained."
