"Exactly as represented. Vitor assisted getting us settled and with his knowledge of local feasts and happenings. House had EVERYTHING you could possibly need while staying there. Clean and quiet. Vitor assisted us with baggage to and from the rental. Three minute walk uphill from the street parking, as noted in their VRBO ad. Would stay here again "

"A beautiful house with all the amenities that you would need for your stay and then some. Magnificent views of the sunset from the terrace. The property manager Johnny went out of his way to help us in any need that we had. We only should have paid more attention to the fact that the garage is for small cars. Our rental (Dacia Duster) fit very tight. A great experience that included three hikes with incredible views. "

"We got off to a slightly rocky start, finding out only a couple of hours prior to checking in that the house was double booked. Not what we wanted to hear after 2 days of flying to get to Madeira! While this was disappointing, the owner did apologize profusely and respond quickly, accepting that this was a mistake at her end and booking us into a really nice local hotel for the first night. "My family and I spent 10 nights in Calheta at Alberto’s beautiful home! It was a great amount of space for 3 adults and one 10 year old. Easily could have fit another family with the use of downstairs. The place was well equipped to make meals and eat on the veranda overlooking the town and the mighty Atlantic. We loved staying in Calheta- with a rental car- it was easy to access various other nearby communities. The town is just down the hill (by car) and there are a good amount of restaurants...
