"The Shrimp Shack is a great place to stay and very pet friendly. Richard and Ginger have thought of everything right down to your pets. The fenced back yard has plenty of room for the dogs to run and play. Close to shops, restaurants and grocery store. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and you can easily walk your dogs. We had a great stay and highly recommend a stay there"

"This was a first time stay at SGI for the entire group, some driving from as far away as Louisiana, Arkansas, and GA. The relative simplicity of the island may be a draw back for some visitors, but we all enjoyed the peace and ease of getting around, whether on foot, bike, or car. The Plantation amenities (pool, tennis, fitness center) were a nice addition. This house is right on the beach -- just as described. We all enjoyed the wide porch looking south over the water both morning and evening....

"Our family had an amazing week and loved the location of this property. The views were amazing and we were lucky enough to watch dolphins from the balcony. We rented a golf cart for the week but you can easily walk to most shops and restaurants. The property needs some maintenance attention for things like siding, cabinet doors in the kitchen, toilet paper holder, loose faucet, etc… Other than that it was perfect and honestly those items didn’t take away from the awesome week we had. We cain’t...

"We loved the house. The location is perfect. Right across the street from beach access. Close to restaurants and Piggly Wiggly. The pool is the perfect size. Being able to hear the pool was a plus. This was our first trip to SGI, will definitely be returning, loved it!! Faith was a perfect host! "
