"We felt both totally transported and absolutely at home in our lovely, low key desert getaway- perfect for those who want to escape to the desert in a quiet, secluded and characterful way. The outdoor pool area was so peaceful, The Getaway obviously attracts those of a similar, calm and respectful nature. "This was a great little place for my mom and me to get away to the sun for a few days. It's a 5-unit group of small apartments around a small pool (big extra fee to heat). It would be perfect for a multi-family getaway. It's not close to anything, about 10 minute drive to grocery and a limited choice of restaurants, about 30 minute drive to Palm Springs downtown. Also, unit is up 4 flights of stairs, which allows for a nice view but requires a little more work getting kids/equipment in/out of unit. Overall though we had a pleasant stay."
