"We really enjoyed our time in Maria’s place. She gave us a lovely welcome and made us feel at home. We loved all the space and the house and grounds were beautiful. The kids loved the pool and the garden including seeing frogs in the pond! It was very easy to get to Braga and Porto, wished we could have stayed longer! Thank you!"

"Stayed initially for three night but enjoyed it so much we had two more nights there. The apartments are well appointed and quite private. The rooms were spacious and well fitted with a jacuzzi in the bedroom. Quiet in grounds of large house on outskirts of Vila de Punhe about 4miles from Viana do Castelo. Easy access to the town. The staff were very nice and the owner was very helpful. The views were lovely over the area and vineyards. Everything worked well and had no problems."

I wish I had taken more notice of the number of external photographs against interior shots as the only redeeming feature of this place is the outside area. The house itself is of a very low standard. Everything feels old. Not rustic, not traditional, not authentic, OLD! From the furniture right down to the cutlery, it all has a jumble sale feel you shouldn’t be getting for what is being charged. Something else to watch for in...

Ons huisje was erg knus en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt + een prachtig uitzicht over het dal. Ontbijt is bij de prijs inbegrepen en dat is een ontbijt dat grotendeels bestaat uit zelfgemaakte en streekgebonden producten. Heeeerlijk !! Er kan ook meegedaan worden aan het diner.
