"Aurelie was fantastic to deal with and really helpful with any queries and booking taxis for us etc. the house was absolutely stunning and the grounds were amazing with so many lemon, lime, fig, olive trees etc. So quiet - we were in our own Oasis! Will definitely be returning when we aren’t having to rush back & forth to Dance World Cup!"

"A truly relaxing property. Huge, beautiful gardens provided the most serene setting for sitting out under the olive trees. A large pool where you could really get your laps in and lemon and lime trees with an abundance of fruit to pick. The house was very traditional. Lots of space and a very quirky ground floor. "Great location for access to airport and Porto. Beautiful two bed apartment with pool. Hosts were charming and spoke English. It was a perfect last night before our cruise, but would make a good base for exploring north of Porto."

"Lovely clean property and owners went out of their way to welcome us and help make our holiday special. Great setting in view of the sea in an unspoilt part of Portugal. Only a short drive to the city delights of Porto (I recommend parking in Matosinhos and catching public transport or the hop-on buses) and Viana do Castelo worth a visit."

"We had a splendid stay. The house was just as described. All amenities described were provided. The owner, Filipe, is very responsive and helpful with any questions. We had no issues. We enjoyed the peacefulness yet close to town. As for the driveway from precious comments, yes it is steep, but we had no issues at all! We followed Felipe’s advice and we were fine."

"The views from this place of the mountains were spectacular. Very quiet and peaceful. The above ground pool was welcome in the heat wave. Large fridge was handy. Lots of fruit trees in the yard and no mosquitoes in August! The neighbourhood is very traditional, including very narrow roads with stone walls on the way in. If you have a large car, you'll have to pull the mirrors in and hope you don't meet another car. There is a good pizza shop within walking distance and a beautiful bar that...
