"Lago Gray is a beautiful site for your stay at Torres del Paine. The hotel has access to some trails but not all. The room was simple but well appointed, spacious and clean, and had a phenomenal view of the lake. It was a bit warm in the afternoon with no way of cooling it other than leaving the door open or closing the shade. I would also love a kettle in the room. Other than that, the restaurant and coffee bar were excellent, the service was great, and the location incredible. Check if you need a car or transport to other trails because that is not cheap."

"Our stay here was fabulous! I highly, highly recommend Rio Serrano Hotel & Spa. There are spectacular views from everywhere in the hotel. All of the food was amazing, particularly the complimentary wood smoked lamb and sopapias we were surprised with one afternoon. We booked 2 excursions through The Massif: Lago Gray and Base Torres. Both were phenomenal experiences, and we were very well taken care of. Rio Serrano went above and beyond, even surprising us with a picnic after our long Base Torres hike. They don't nickel and dime guests like so many hotels do. We stayed 3 nights and didn't want to leave! It was quite honestly the best hotel experience my husband and I have had. We hope to return to Patagonia in the future, and we will definitely be staying here. Thank you so much, Rio Serrano Hotel and The Massif, for being the highlight of our Patagonian adventure!"

"We arrived here after receiving multiple confirmations and paying $3k USD but the entire place was closed for the season. I would never recommend this place as they put us in a very dangerous situation. They did absolutely nothing to help us find another accommodation during the middle of the off season and night. They royally messed up, and we couldn’t even reach them to figure out what was going on. Their neighbor is wonderful and very accommodating- Konkashken Lodge. We went to Lago Grey last minute who was able to take us in, and it was a blessing in disguise. Lago Grey is perfect- great food, stellar views and location, and awesome experiences, not to mention half the cost!"
