"This place was adorable! We came here for a stress free night before going to our first Victorian Christmas in Nevada City. It was so close and easy! Check in and out was simple and straightforward. "Studio itself was very clean and the main area was spacious for the three of us and our grehyhound. The main floor had a daybed, with a hide-away for another person. The loft had one bed for two. There is not much height in the loft so you do have to crouch to get into bed. It was fine for our purpose. The ladder/stairs to get up were a bit narrow at the top but they felt pretty sturdy and safe. The 1/2 bath is located just outside the door, approx 10ft away for our use only. Not a big deal for...

"This 39 acres is so delightful to explore. Everyday we would experience a morning walk to a pond and then further on to a lovely walk in the woods with the sound of the running creek. Our first evening there we got to see out the window a deer and rabbits enjoying their evening meal. This is one of the most restful places we have ever stayed. The apartment was truly comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. It was so nice after our hikes to return to the air conditioned room to cool...

"We stayed Friday and Saturday nights. The steep driveway is not for the faint of heart if you drive a full size pick-up truck but once you've arrived it is an excellent location. Roomy studio and easy to walk a block into town. Recommend for agile adults due to the uneven brick walkway and tall entry door steps down into the studio. Loved the fireplace on our 2 December nights! Recommend including an event at the Foundry and dinner at the National Hotel. Hoping to return soon. "

"Studio is clean, cute and cozy. We stayed one night for the Victorian Christmas and easily walked downtown in about 10 minutes. Hosts very responsive and lots of nice little touches like fresh coffee beans. My only caveat (and the reason for 4 vs. 5 stars) is the parking. Very steep driveway that we found it difficult to navigate backing into it on a curve with a mid-sized SUV."

"We had 7 friends get together for our 25th annual gaming geek week. We play PC games all week. The place worked out great. The internet was adequate. Higher speed and consistency would have been great but we had no issues. The place had lots of room and bathrooms. Kitchen had 2 ovens but no microwave. We had a great time and will consider it for next year. The host was excellent when we needed direct access to ethernet from the Starlink router."
